Lincolnland Hospice Invites Public to Memorial Service Oct. 13

The public is invited to attend Sarah Bush Lincoln’s Lincolnland Hospice memorial service at 2 pm Sunday, October 13. The service, which is open to anyone who has experienced a loss, will be held in the Lumpkin Family Center for Health Education at Sarah Bush Lincoln. Convenient parking is available on the north side the Health Center.

 

The memorial service will feature a remembrance slide show, as well as tabletop photo display. If you wish to have a photo of your loved one included in the slide show, please email it with your name and the name of your loved one to bereavement counselor Resa Ware at rware@sblhs.org by Friday, October 11. For the tabletop display, please bring a photo with you the day of the service. People are also invited to share a memory of their loved during the service, which they are encouraged to send via email no later than Friday, October 11.

 

Lincolnland Hospice offers a team of medical, social and community professionals who provide physical, emotional and spiritual and bereavement support to terminally ill patients and their families. Hospice provides informational visits at no charge to anyone who requests one. Services are often covered under Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance. Lincolnland Hospice cares for people in 20 counties in East Central and Southern Illinois.
